Bill was my college roommate and very good friend when we were youths together. He was much fun to be with as we worked our way through classes at IUP. Bill and I, along with Doug McIndoe, George Bell, and Jim Shumar traveled for four years to Florida together and stayed at his parents place in Lakeland Florida, This was during our college years. We called ourselves the Florida Five. It was a time when we were trying to grow up and figure out where we were about to go. Bill always knew he was heading for his family hardware store. He was generous of spirit with a kind sincere heart. He and Sandy were meant for each other. They fit together from the start. I wish for Sandy and his family this had not been his fate.

To fellow classmate Sandy, and your whole family -
You have my sincere sympathy in the loss of your husband, father, brother, ... I remember Bill as one of the "nicest" people in our class, in the truest sense of the word. He had a quiet but friendly manner, and yet was very funny and light-hearted, too. In missing him, may your many memories through the years see you through this.
In caring, Debbie (Kadylak) Huck

My love and deepest sympathy to Sandy and the family. Bill was an excellent boss and dear friend. His sense of humor made days at George and Cunningham fly by, although I am not sure his Dad would have approved! He will be missed but never forgotten. Thoughts and prayers to Sandy, Martha, and all the other family members he cared so much about. Much love, Pat Martin (Rimel), Lakeland, Florida.

Bill was a polite easy going family man along with being a good neighbor and business man. It’s sad to lose a husband father and grandfather as young as Bill was. He is safe without pain and his life will live on through the family members he left behind. Sandy and the family can feel the pain of his loss along with his many friends. God Bless Bill and Sandy along with his family through these sad times.

To the George Family,
My family and I have known Bill and Sandy for many years. He was a close friend and fellow business owner. Thru all the the hard times - the fire that changed the hardware business forever, the loss of his father and mother, and the health issues Bill fought thru he always had a positive outlook on life. He loved his wife and family and it showed anytime they were together. He will be missed by many people who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Remember the chicks in the front window for Easter, how about do you have this part for my mower. Bill would say, let's go to the basement an look.. and 9 times out of 10 he had it... What a guy...
Our prayers are sent to his family and for the soul of Bill, that he may find God's comfort in heaven.
We will continue to remember him and assist the family where needed.
Mark and Kathy Krystiniak and the entire Krystyniak Family.
