Luann,
I (we) will miss you so much. I’m so thankful for our last short visit the Friday before you went to be with the Lord.
I know that we had not seen each other since this whole pandemic started prior. But you were my neighbor and friend for over 20 years. And I always loved you,Dennis did also. We knew you were such a genuinely kind soul the first day We met you. I had a bird visit me, a few days after you went to be with the Lord. It sat outside the window in the back of the house, on the porch chair looking in at me chirping for hours. I had been on and off sleeping all day, not feeling well. But I consistently heard this bird right outside, thinking it must be injured on the porch, or in the grass, because it had obviously not moved, was in the same spot, making the same noise for hours. I finally got up and off the couch, looked out the window, and this bird was sitting on the top edge of the chair, a foot away from the window,, staring straight in to me, chirping away. To my surprise it wasn’t injured, it just sat there for hours,looking in, chirping away. I was able to take some pictures of him, not great, but all I could think of was you. I remember how much you loved nature, animals, and birds. You would have been able to tell me right away what type of bird that was and all about their species. You passed that gift on to Lauren as well. I was always impressed with your ability in knowing about mother nature.
