Obituary of William R. Fenton

William R. Fenton, age 91 of Mount Pleasant, PA, died Monday. (5/4/2020) in the Excela Health- Frick Hospital, Mt. Pleasant, PA. Mr. Fenton was born May 29, 1928 in Mount Pleasant, PA, the son of the late Presley and Viola Shaffer Fenton. He was a member of St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church. Bill was a graduate of the former Hurst High School. He had been employed for more than 40 years as the Street Commissioner for the Mount Pleasant Borough. He was a life member of the Mount Pleasant Volunteer Fire Department, and also served for many years on the Mount Pleasant Cemetery Board. He is survived by his family: his three daughters, five grandchildren and three great grandchildren, his two sisters, several nieces and nephews and by his close friend and companion. Being mindful of the current medical guidelines for Covid 19 and honoring Bill’s wishes, there will be no hours of public visitation. Private Inurnment will be in the Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
