Obituary of Mary Katherine Gach

Mary Katherine (Hresko) Gach, age 89 of Mount Pleasant, PA, died Sunday (5/3/2020) in the Westmoreland Manor Greensburg, PA. Mrs. Gach was born July 16, 1930 in Mount Pleasant, PA, the daughter of the late George and Nellie Mentus Hresko. Mary Katherine was a member of Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church. She was a 1949 graduate of the former East Huntingdon High School. Mary Katherine had been employed at General Motors Co. in Quality Control, and most recently at Westmoreland Manor. She is survived by her loving family: her sister; Dorothy (Robert) Kendra of Mechanicsburg, PA and numerous nieces and nephews. Her son: Walter Joseph Gach, Jr. In addition to her parents, Mary Katherine was preceded in death by her brothers George Hresko, Andrew J. Hresko, and her sisters; Frances Sullenburger, Dolores Cramer and Josephine Damico. In honoring Mary Katherine’s wishes there will be no public hours of visitation.
