Obituary of Randy Norman Clausner

Randy Norman Clausner, age 69 of Mount Pleasant, PA, died Monday (9/16/2019) in the Excela Health- Frick Hospital, Mount Pleasant, PA.

Mr. Clausner was born December 9, 1949 in Mount Pleasant, PA, the son of the late Fred and  Bonnie Davis Clausner. He was a member of the United Methodist Church of Mt. Pleasant. Randy  was a 1967 graduate of Mt. Pleasant Area High School and  attended Westmoreland County Community College.  He served his country  in the United States Army. Randy had been employed as an Electrician for A Positive Electric Co. He enjoyed hunting and watching TV, but most of all enjoyed spending time with his family.

Randy is survived by his loving family: his wife of 44 years,  Cheryl McCloy Clausner,  his sons, Brian R. (Rebecca) Clausner of Planto, TX,  Craig W. (Tiffany) Clausner of Everson, and Brent E. (Jessica) Clausner of Trafford and by his four grandchildren; Christian Clausner, Cameron Clausner, Josie Virgillo, and Drake Clausner. He is also survived by his brothers and sister; Scott L. ( Elida) Clausner, Kerry D. (Susan) Clausner, and Cynthia (Peter) DeNezza and by  his sister in law, Juliana Clausner. In addition to his parents, Randy was preceded in death by his brother; Ricky Clausner in 1997.

Family and friends will be received   Wednesday from 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 PM  at the Galone-Caruso Funeral Home, 204 Eagle Street, Mount Pleasant.

Funeral Services for Randy will be held Thursday at 11:00 AM in the funeral home with his Pastor the Rev. Robert Ellson officiating.

Interment with Military Rites accorded by the Fayette City American Legion will be in the Greenlick Cemetery, Bullskin Township.
