Obituary of Regis A. Klinchock

Regis A. Klinchock, age 82 of Youngwood, PA, died Friday (3/1/2019) in Hempfield Manor, Greensburg, PA.

 

Mr. Klinchock was born October 31, 1936 in Mount Pleasant, PA, the son of the late Steve and Mary Frances Ungvarsky Klinchock. He was a member of Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church of Mt. Pleasant. Rege was the owner of   The old Motordrome Speedway, the former Gasland 119 and Gasland Diner and K & K Trucking for over 40 years and a promoter of the South Penn Speedway.  He was an avid fan of NASCAR racing and the Pittsburgh Steelers, and was very proud of the fact  that  the 4 Super Bowls  he attended were won by his beloved Steelers.   His most special times however, were those spent with  his family.

 

Regis is survived by his loving family: his children; Regis A. Klinchock and Cheri of Mt. Pleasant and Barbara A. Trout and Clay Schoaf of New Stanton, his beloved grandchildren;  Cole Klinchock (Jill), Neil Trout, Ryan Trout, Heather Nicodemus (Derek), and by his great grandson, Bryson Nicodemus. He is also survived by his niece; Deborah (Willett) Taylor and her husband Owen.  In addition to his parent, he was preceded in death by his wife, Annabelle Hamborsky Klinchock in 2016 and by his brother and sister; Francis Klinchock and Anna Marie Willett.

Family and friends will be received Tuesday from 2 until 8 PM at the Galone-Caruso Funeral Home, 204 Eagle Street, Mount Pleasant.

Funeral Services for Rege will be held Wednesday at 11:00 AM in the funeral home,  with the Rev Richard J. Kosisko officiating. The family wishes to offer a special thank you to  Linda King, and Cindy Siebert for their exceptional care and for always making their dad laugh. They would also like to thank the Staff of Hempfield Manor and Excela Hospice for their care and kindness.
