Obituary of Louise Vimislicky

 Louise (Marne) Vimislicky, age 71 of Mount Pleasant, PA, died peacefully on Monday (11/26/2018) in Falls Church, VA.

Louise was born July 24, 1947 in Mount Pleasant, PA, the daughter of the late Michael and Genevieve Kelly Marne.  She was a member of St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church.  Louise was a 1965 graduate of the former  Ramsay High School.  Over the course of her life, she had been employed by Krystyniak’s Colonial Bakery and Kraisinger’s Market.  Louise was an avid reader, enjoyed taking trips with family and friends and loved being a “GiGi” to her grandson Jack. 

Louise is survived by her loving family: her son, Shawn Vimislicky of Mount Pleasant, her daughter, Amy (Scott) Walker of Falls Church, VA and her grandson Jack.  She is also survived by her brother, Michael (Mary Louise) Marne and her sisters, Sally Brosky and Suzanne (Kevin) Lease, all of Mount Pleasant and by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.  Louise was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Vimislicky on July 25^th 1994. 

Family and friends will be received Friday from 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 pm at the Galone-Caruso Funeral Home, 204 Eagle Street, Mount Pleasant.

A blessing service will be held Saturday in the funeral home at 11:30 AM followed by her  Funeral Mass at 12:00  Noon in St. Pius X  RC Church, Mount Pleasant, with the Rev. Richard J.  Kosisko, as celebrant.

Interment will be in the St. Pius X  Parish Cemetery. A parish Wake Service will be held in the funeral home Friday @ 3PM.
