Obituary of Carolyn (DePalma) Grega

Carolyn (DePalma) Grega , age 84 of Hecla, PA died Monday (10/29/18) at Forbes Regional Hospital, Monroeville, PA.

 

Mrs. Grega was born February 18, 1934 in Mount Pleasant, PA, the daughter of the late John and Angeline Rosso DePalma.  She was a member of Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church. Carolyn was a 1952 graduate of the former Ramsay High School. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family, especially with her granddaughters and great granddaughter.

 

Carolyn is survived by her loving family: her children; Cheryl Harrold and her husband Dennis of Greensburg and Paul J. Grega, Jr. and his wife Helene of Mt. Pleasant,  her beloved granddaughters, Angela Hurt and her husband Jeramy,  and Lauren Grega and her great granddaughter, Caroline Hurt. She is also survived by her brother, Patsy DePalma and his wife Lorraine, her sister, Antoinette Baker and by her sister in law, Evelyn DePalma. In addition to her parents, Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband, Paul J. Grega in 2006, and by her brothers, John M. DePalma, Jr. and Dan DePalma.

 

Family and friends will be received Friday from 10 until 11 AM at the Galone-Caruso Funeral Home, 204 Eagle Street, Mount Pleasant. A blessing service will be held immediately following visitation in the funeral home at 11:30 AM followed by her Funeral Mass at 12 Noon in Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary RC Church, Mount Pleasant, with the Rev. Richard J. Kosisko as celebrant.
