Obituary of Donna J. Hennessey

Donna J. (Hamel) Hennessey, age 69 of Mount Pleasant PA, died Thursday 9/27/2018 at her home.

Mrs. Hennessey was born July 4, 1949 in Mount Pleasant, PA, the daughter of the late Dana and Olive Meader Hamel. Mrs. Hennessey was a 1967 graduate of Mt. Pleasant Area High School. She had been employed as a Cake Decorator for Shop N Save of Mt. Pleasant for more than 28 years. She enjoyed drawing, reading and could grow just about anything in her garden.

She is survived by her loving family: her daughter; Jamie Smith and her husband Steve. Her granddaughters: Jesse Neiderhiser and her husband James, and Paige Smith. Her great grandson: Jace Sanmarco. She is also survived by her sister; Judy Mason and her husband James. In addition to her parents, Donna was preceded in death by her husband William Hennessey, and by her brother William Hamel.

Family and friends will be received Sunday from 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 p.m.  at the Galone-Caruso Funeral Home, 204 Eagle Street Mount Pleasant.
