Obituary of Anthony J. Kiral

Anthony John “Butch” Kiral, age 62 of Mount Pleasant Township, died Thursday (08/23/2018) at his home, surrounded by his loving family.

Mr. Kiral was born July 28, 1956 in Mount Pleasant, PA, the son of the late George and Marjorie Morrocco Kiral. He as a member of Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church.  Butch was a 1975 graduate of the Mt. Pleasant Area High School, and received a degree from Penn State-Fayette University. Butch was employed for more than 40 years for Excela-Frick Hospital in Environmental Services. He was a member of Marion Lodge #562, F&AM and the Slovak Club and had been active with Mt. Pleasant Medic 10. He enjoyed his antique cars and was an avid collector. Butch was very particular. When building their home, he hand selected each stone. He loved talking to and laughing with people, even if he didn’t know them, but his most cherished time was spent with his family.

Butch is survived by his loving family: his wife of 43 years, Mary C. Gula Kiral, his beloved children; Anthony G. “Butchie” Kiral, Matthew J. Kiral, and Christine Ann “Chrissy” Kiral and his faithful dog and companion “Cooper”. He is also survived by his brother, George Kiral and  Janet, and several nieces nephews, all of Mt. Pleasant.

Family and friends will be received Sunday from 3 until 7 PM at the Galone-Caruso Funeral Home, 204 Eagle Street, Mount Pleasant.

A prayer service will be held Monday in  the funeral home  at 9:30 AM followed by his 10:00 AM Funeral Mass  in Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary RC Church, Mount Pleasant, with the Rev. Richard J. Kosisko as celebrant.
