Judy was the most inspirational, sweetest, most down to earth person I have ever met. Judy has inspired me in more ways than I can begin count and she has played a big part in making me the nurse I am today. Without Judy I never would never have had the courage to go back to school and I never would have started a career in nursing. Judy never missed a birthday, a baptism, an anniversary, a wedding, bridal shower, baby shower etc. she went out of her way for absolutely everyone in every aspect of her life. She will be forever loved and deeply missed by everyone who has ever had the privilege of meeting her. You were an angel here on earth and now one in heaven. Fly High

Dear Henry family. Judy was the sweetest person I ever had the pleasure of meeting. I was new to Pediatric Endocrine Nursing and she took me in like she knew me forever. For that I am grateful. Heaven truly gained an angel. My deepest, sincerest condolences go out to you.

Dear Ed & all of The Kadylak Family. There are no words to describe the loss of Judy in your lives & the lives of all us who she impacted so greatly...be it as a wife, daughter, sister, aunt, dear friend or colleague! She truly was amazing & being in her presence you always knew how much she cared about you! She was one of the most loyal people I have ever known; devotion was her mantra! In life, we rarely experience the imprint someone like Judy leaves on our life & I will always feel blessed to have known her & called her my friend. She will never be forgotten. May we all find reassurances in her peace.

Judy touched the lives of so many people in all areas of her life. I met Judy at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh when I was very new to my career. She provided me with years of advice and support, both personally and professionally. I will always remember her when I work in my garden and interact with the many mutual patients we shared that ask about her still.

Ed, So sorry for your loss. Judy and I were PUH classmates and exchanged Christmas cards every year. Most recently I saw her at DeNunzios in Monroeville where I live.

Judy was unfailingly kind and generous. She reached out to me when I moved to Pittsburgh and knew no one to welcome me. The next year when I had pneumonia she brought me soup and juice, and I don't know what I would have done without it. Her laugh was infectious and she brought joy to our workplace. The world is diminished without her bright spirit.

My deepest sympathy to Judy's family. It was so great seeing her at our Nursing alumnae reunion last Oct. and I know she was hoping to make it again this year.
May she be at rest and at peace.

Dear Ed and all of Judy's family,
My deepest condolences to all of you. I have known Judy since I started my first nursing job at Children's Hospital in 1977. She was my assistant head nurse, my greatest mentor and most especially myG3NdA treasured friend. If by chance, anyone thinks that I am a good pediatric nurse, it is because of the influence and support of Judy. I was blessed to have her example, her humor, her love of friends and family and children as a part of my life. She will be missed . . . more than I can say. May you, in time, find comfort and peace.
Love,
Mary Beth (Slemenda) Klein
