Obituary of Florence E. Kinneer

Florence E. (Sutty) Kinneer, age 89 of Acme, PA, died Wednesday (08/08/2018) in The Hempfield Manor, Greensburg, PA.

 

Mrs. Kinneer was born May 11, 1929 in Mt. Pleasant, PA, the daughter of Michael and Helen Junick Sutty.  She was a member of St. Raymond of the Mountain Roman Catholic Church and its Christian Mothers. Florence was a 1947 graduate of the former Ramsay High School. She enjoyed gardening, but most of all loved spending time with her family.

Florence is survived by her loving family: her children; Coleen Moore and Kenneth, Joyce Dellgross and Anthony, Kelly Miller and Tim Thieler, Jennifer Gonofsky and Jon, and Hope Miller and James, her eight Grandchildren and five Great Grandchildren.  She is also survived by her sisters, Leona Lewandowski and Helen Lewandoski. In addition to her parents, Florence was preceded in death by her husband, Bryce E. Kinneer in 2008 and by her sisters, Jane Sutty in 1969 and Eleanor Sutty in 2012.

 

Family and friends will be received Friday from 2 until 8 PM at the Galone-Caruso Funeral Home, 204 Eagle Street, Mount Pleasant. A blessing service will be held Saturday at 9:30AM in the funeral home followed by her Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM in Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary RC Church, Mount Pleasant, with the Rev. Richard J.  Kosisko as celebrant.
