Obituary of Clifford Kenneth McAbee

Clifford Kenneth McAbee, age 82 of Connellsville, PA, died Wednesday (7/25/18) at  the Scottdale Manor & Rehabilitation Center, Scottdale, PA.

Mr. McAbee was born August 22, 1935 in Mt. Pleasant, PA,  the son of the late Clifford  M. McAbee and Sarah E. Taylor McAbee Drayton, and   stepmother , Mabel Violet Burrell McAbee. He was a member of the Second Baptist Church of Mt. Pleasant. Clifford was a graduate of the former Ramsay High School. He served in the Unites States Army during the Vietnam Era. Cliff retired from the Anchor Hocking Glass Co. after many years of service. His favorite pastime was  playing his guitar. 

Cliff is survived by his loving family: his children; Sheila Hooper, Stephanie Simmons, and Kenneth Hooper and by his 9 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters; Barbara Williams, Deborah Williams and Bill, and Jacqueline Thomas and Jeffrey.  Clifford was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother James McAbee.

Family and friends will be received  Sunday from 11 to 1 PM  at  the  Galone-Caruso Funeral Home, 204 Eagle Street, Mount Pleasant.

Funeral Services will immediately follow   at 1:00 PM in the Funeral Home, with the Rev. Jeffrey Thomas officiating.
