Obituary of John A. Rudnick

John A. “Slick” Rudnick, age 70 of Greensburg, PA, died Friday (06/22/18) at his home, due to complications from Chemotherapy and Radiation.

 

Mr. Rudnick was born December 27, 1947 in Mount Pleasant, PA, the son of the late Edward Chester and Frances Andres Rudnick. He  attended Our Lady of Grace Roman Catholic  Church in Greensburg. John was a graduate of the former East Huntingdon Township High School. He worked as a  Medical Technologist for Monsour Medical Center and the PA Automated Laboratory. John was a member of the  NRA and was a 50 year member and past president of the PA American Medical Technologists. He was also a member of the Beer Club a.k.a. the Hilltop Club of Greensburg. John enjoyed farming with his Farmal Tractor and riding his Harley.

 

He is survived by   by his children:  Lynda Rudnick and (Pete Grimm) of Greensburg,  and   Christopher J. Rudnick of Clairton,    his grandchildren; Christopher E. Rudnick and Amanda, Madison Rudnick, McKensie Rudnick and Butch Sibal, and by his granddogs, Abby and A.J. John is also survived by his brother, David Rudnick and Kathy of WA.

 

Honoring  Johns final wishes, there will be no hours of public  visitation. Family and friends are invited to attend his funeral mass on Monday at 12:30 PM  in  Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary RC Church, 740 Walnut Street, Mount Pleasant, with the Rev. Richard J. Kosisko as celebrant.

 

Inurnment will be in the Visitation Parish Cemetery.
