Obituary of Ralph E. King

Ralph E. King Sr. age 88 of Mt. Pleasant, PA, formerly of Scottdale, died Sunday 6/17/2018 at Amber House at Harmon House, Mount Pleasant, PA.

Mr. King was born June 24, 1929 in Uniontown, PA, the son of James and Mahala Clark King. He was a 1947 graduate of South Union High School. 

Ralph was Director of Environmental Service at Frick Community Hospital for 27 years.  After his retirement, he drove School Bus for First Student for more than 10 years. He was a member  and had served as secretary, Trustee  and  past Master of Marion Lodge F & AM #562.   Ralph was also a member of the Lodge of Perfection in Uniontown and Pittsburgh.

Ralph is survived by his loving family: his wife, Jane L. McIndoe King, his children; Ralph E. King, Jr. and his wife Christine, and Robert K. King and his wife Chris, his step sons; Randy McIndoe, Richard McIndoe, and Jack McIndoe, and by his grandchildren, Stephanie and Alyssa King.  In addition to his parents, Ralph was preceded in death by his first wife, Anna Belle Fitzsimmons King in 1986 and by his brother, Wendel King.

Honoring Ralph’s wishes, there will be no hours of public visitation. Private Interment will be in the LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill.
