Obituary of Margaret L. Barkley

Margaret L. (Macudzinski) Barkley, age 90 of Mount Pleasant, PA, died Wednesday, (5/18) in the Excela Health- Frick Hospital, Mount Pleasant, PA.

Mrs. Barkley was born June 4, 1927 in Mount Pleasant, PA, the daughter of the late Josef and Victoria Ogrodowska Macudzinski. Margaret was a graduate of the former Ramsay High School. She had been employed for many years in retail sales for various businesses in Mt.  Pleasant, retiring with many years of service from the former George and Cunningham Hardware Store.

Margaret is survived by her sister,  Julia Zisek of Yukon, her two nephews, Frank Kostello  and Dean Zisek and by numerous great nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth C. Barkley in 1992 and by her sisters, Viola Kostello in 1981 and Pauline Janicka in 1988.

Honoring Margaret’s wishes, there will be no hours of public visitation. Private Interment will be in the Mount Pleasant Cemetery.  Arrangements have been entrusted to the Galone-Caruso Funeral Home, 204 Eagle St., Mt. Pleasant.
