Obituary of Dolores M. Miele

 Dolores Marie "Mary" (Lewandowski) Miele , age 84 of Mount Pleasant, PA, died peacefully Friday (05/4/2018) at her home, surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Miele was born December 23, 1933 in McClure, PA, the daughter of the late Alex and Frances Gesinski Lewandowski. She was a member of St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church. Mary loved playing bingo, knitting, crocheting and especially playing cards with her grandchildren She is survived by her loving family: her husband of 60 years, Henry Miele, her children; John M. Miele, Cynthia Rapp and Howard, and Daniel Miele and Tara, her beloved grandchildren; Tony Sansone and Monica, Trin Walagura and Harry, Dan Miele and Camille, Jarrod Overly, Nicholas Overly and Catherine and Enrico, and by her great grandchildren; Vaida Miele, and Juliana Sansone. Mary is also survived by her sister, Theresa Sakal, her brother, Leonard Lewandowski and Bernadette, her brother in law, John Miele and Barbara, and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her five brothers; Raymond, Joseph, Bernard, Daniel and Edwin Lewandowski, her infant brother and sister, William and Genevieve Lewandowski and by her brother in law, Ernie Sakal. Honoring Mary's wishes, there will be no hours of public visitation. Family and friends are invited to attend Mary's Funeral Mass on Wednesday at 12-noon at St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church, 224 Summit St., Mt. Pleasant, with the Rev. Richard J. Kosisko as celebrant. Private Interment will be in the St. Pius X Parish Cemetery.
