Obituary of James E Springer

Mt. Pleasant, James E Springer, age 71 of Mt. Pleasant PA, died Thursday, October 26, 2017 in the Westmoreland Manor, Greensburg, PA. Mr. Springer was born on February 12, 1946 in Mt. Pleasant, the son of the late Frank and Martha Peters Springer. Mr. Springer was raised on the family farm in East Huntington Twp. Jim was a family man taking great pride in all his grandchildren. Jim was a happy guy who loved John Deere Tractors. He was employed by Westmoreland Hospital in their House Keeping Department. Jim is survived by his wife Christine Springer of Mt. Pleasant, his daughter's Kellie Hutchinson and her husband Dennis of Mt. Pleasant, Lisa Hepler and her husband Shawn of Hunker, and Michele Marquis of Uniontown, and his adoring grandchildren Hannah Moneta, Allie Hutchinson, Frank Sever, and Kaylin Hart, and 5 additional grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother Carl Springer and sister Betty Byers, along with numerous nieces and nephews, and his two dogs Kickee and Bella. In addition to his parents James was preceded in death by his brothers, Raymond and Norman Springer. Friends may call Monday October 30, 2017, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 at Galone-Caruso Funeral Home Inc., 204 Eagle Street, Mount Pleasant. Funeral Services will be held at 8:00 PM in the Galone-Caruso Funeral Home, Mount Pleasant, with the Rev. Cheryl Barron officiating.
