Obituary of Dianna Leah Stepansky
From the loving arms of her parents, to the loving arms of the angels, Dianna Leah Stepansky, 55, entered peacefully, into the gates of heaven on November 5, 2017.
Dianna, also known as Sis & Bug Bug, is the daughter of Tom & Peggy (Zaronsky) Stepansky, granddaughter of the late Gib & Barb Zaronsky and the late Leo & Verna Stepansky. She is a member of Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary R. C. Church. Dianna attended Highland Ave. School in Greensburg. She worked for several years at the ARC in Greensburg, and would always say, “I love my job.” Dianna’s happiness, laughter, & love of life was uplifting to all who knew her.
One of her favorite hobbies was dancing and “wow” could she dance! Fast, slow, Polka’s, electric slide, and everything in between. She was on a bowling team that met every Saturday and loved to play bingo any chance she got. Dianna looked forward to her annual bus trips to Wildwood and Atlantic City, helping her tour director mom, Peggy, and using the microphone on the bus daily saying, “Is everybody here?”
She also traveled to Las Vegas, Disney World three times, Chicago numerous times, and a Caribbean Cruise. One of the biggest highlights for Sis, was meeting Donny Osmond three times. Donny was so sweet to Dianna and referred to her as “his biggest fan.”
Dianna loved to do seek and find puzzles, watch TV, exercise, swim, wear makeup, perfume, jewelry, and mostly cuddle with her dog “Mick”. Dianna loved anything shiny and sparkly- truly the light of our lives. So good, so happy, so kind. She even inspired her nieces, Ashlee & Kaylee, to dedicate their careers to helping special needs children. Our angel on earth & now in eternity.
In addition to her parents, Dianna is survived by her sister Denise and her husband Lee Hare, nieces Ashlee & Kaylee Hare, her aunt and godmother Cel (Henry) Lewandowski, her Aunt Leona Bilik, and cousins Henry Joe Lewandowski & Melinda Lewandowski & family, Andrea (Tim) Grindle, Billy Bilik & family, Leanne (Greg) Phillips & family, Bobby Bilik, and Cindy (Ed) Deprins & family. Dianna is also survived by her best friend Debbie Miller, who Dianna faithfully talked on the phone with for years, and her lifelong family friends Kathy & Ray Janesko, Isabel & John Brodak, Patty Bert & Bob Croke.
We were blessed that God gave Dianna to all of us to have and love. Our love for her is endless. “To live in hearts we leave behind is not to die.” Sis always said, “Enjoy Yourself.” What wonderful words to live by. Sing, laugh, and play with the angels Sis- you always were, one of them.
Family and friends will be received from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Galone-Caruso Funeral Home, 204 Eagle St., Mount Pleasant.
A blessing service will be held at 9:30 a.m. Friday in the funeral home followed by her funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary R.C. Church, Mount Pleasant, with the Rev.
