Obituary of Paul H. Queer, Jr.

 Paul H. Queer Jr., age 75 of Kecksburg, PA, died Saturday, August 12, 2017 at his home.

 

Mr. Queer was born August 8, 1942 in Mount Pleasant, PA.. ,the son of the late Paul and Ina Jean Hunter Queer. He was a member of the Kecksburg Church of God. Paul was a 1961 graduate of the former Hurst High School. He had been employed by the former Robertshaw Control Company until his retirement. He loved his family and  the LA Dodgers.

Paul is survived by his loving family: his wife of 54 years; Ruth Ann (Dolly) Newill Queer, his sons, Jeffrey P. Queer and James A. Queer and his wife Georgann, all of Kecksburg, and by his beloved grandchildren; Brittany Nicole Clawson, Kayla Marie Queer, and James Paul Queer. He is also survived by his brothers; William Evans and Donna of Ligonier, Larry Ryan and Jonna of Laurelville, and Timothy Scott and Kimber of Norvelt., and Aunt Joanna Hunter of Bridgeport and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by his brothers  in law, William C. Newill in 2015, and James Armbrust in 2016.

Family and friends will be received Monday from 4 until 9PM at the Galone-Caruso Funeral Home, 204 Eagle Street, Mount Pleasant.

Funeral Services for Paul will be held Tuesday at 11:00 AM in the funeral home, with his pastor, the Rev. Shirley Farino, and the Rev. Larry Wiltrout co officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions may be made to the Kecksburg Church of God, 1155 Clay Pike Road, Mt. Pleasant, PA 15666, in Memory of Paul H. Queer.
