Obituary of Michael C. Kissell
Michael C. Kissell, age 48, of Greensburg formerly of Acme, passed away on May 12, 2026 surrounded by loved ones.
Michael was a true character and a ball of joy who lit up every room he entered. Known for his infectious smile and larger-than-life personality, he brought laughter and good times wherever he went. He had a deep love for life’s simple pleasures, especially a big bowl of macaroni and cheese. A passionate sports fan, he rarely missed a football game and was a dedicated follower of WWE wrestling, cheering loudly for his favorite superstars. Michael also had an unmistakable appreciation for the ladies, always quick with a charming smile or a playful story. Whether watching Monday Night Raw, cheering on his favorite football team, or sharing stories over a home-cooked meal, Michael lived life fully and with great enthusiasm. He will be remembered for his humor, his big heart, and the joy he spread to family and friends.
He survived by his brother Bill Kissell of Carnegie, Joe Kissell (Dawn) of Hidden Valley, and his sister Lori Monroe (Patrick) of Mt. Pleasant; as well his nephews Josh Hudec (Jess) of Everson, Jesse Hudec (Emily) of Greensbrug, Jayson Monroe of Belle Vernon; and his niece Jalesha Ferencz (Jim) of Scottdale. He is also survived by his great nieces and nephews Hunter Hudec, Austin Hudec, Jaden Hudec, Addiilynn Ferencz, Avery and Leland Hudec. Michael was preceded in death by his parents Raymond and Hallie Kissell; and his sister Diane Kissell.
