Obituary of David A. Williams

David A. Williams, 84, of Indian Head died Saturday May 9, 2026 at his residence.  Mr. Williams was born February 16, 1942 in Pittsburgh to the late Antonio and Evelyn Coccetella DiGuglielmo.

David was a graduate of Springdale High School Class of 1960.  He was a member of St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church in Mt. Pleasant and was a member of the Knights of Columbus.  David Angelo Williams worked in retail most of his life, first at his father's store, then at his own Plaza Bootery in East Liberty, PA, and at Walmart. In retirement he drove a White Water Recreation bus, and a school bus. He then became an investor in day trading. He was a talented, creative soul who could build beautiful things, and play a mean boogie woogie on the piano. He left the high school band where he played the tympanies, to play football for that 1960 undefeated Springdale PA. Dynamos.  Importantly, he loved, and was loved by his family and many friends. 

David is survived by his loving family, his sister, Anita Novak of Oakton, VA; his brother, Anthony Williams (Tina) of Estero, FL; his nephews, David DiGuglielmo, and Christopher Novak; his nieces, Lisa DiGuglielmo Lyons (Sean), and Dana Ranawat (Anil); and by numerous great-nieces and nephews.  In additon to his parents, David was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Ron Novak.

Family and friends will be received on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. the hour of his Funeral Mass at St. Pius X R.C. Church 224 Summit St. Mt.
