Obituary of Eleanor A. Yezek

Eleanor Yezek, 98, of Mt. Pleasant died Wednesday April 29, 2026 at The Villages of Harmon House.  Mrs. Yezek was born April 16, 1928 in Mt. Pleasant to the late Valent and Anna Gonda Sikora.

Eleanor was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Mt.Pleasant and worked at Williamhouse for many years.  She enjoyed bingo, the occasional trip to the casino, and especially cooking Sunday dinners for her family.

Eleanor is survived by her loving family, her sons, James R. Yezek (Diane), and Barry L. Yezek (Betty); her grandchildren, William Yezek IV, Douglas Yezek (Emily), James Yezek (Amy), Jason Yezek, Denise Yezek Franchak (Mark), and Karen Yezek Gallick (Chris);and by her 11 great-grandchildren.  In addition to her parents, Eleanor was preceded in death by her husband William P. Yezek Jr. in 2018; her son, William P. Yezek III in 2010; her grandon, Brian Lee Yezek in 2009; her daughter-in-law, Toni Yezek in 2015; and by her siblings.

In honoring Eleanor’s wishes, all viewing and services will be private for her family.  A private Interment will take place at Mt.
