Obituary of Ruth Ann Roy

Ruth Ann Roy, 73, of Connellsville passed away Saturday April 4, 2026 at her residence with her loving family by her side.  Mrs. Roy was born May 20, 1952 in Braddock to the late James and Sarah Dodds Uphoff.

Ruth Ann was a graduate of Scott High class of 1970.  She enjoyed keeping a nice home, decorating her house for the holidays, and most of all spending time with her family.  Ruth Ann was always family oriented and dedicated her life to taking care of others.

Ruth is survived by her loving family, her husband, Robert F. Roy; her children, Shawna M. Blasko and Michael J. Blasko; her brother, Theodore Uphoff; the father of her children, Michael F. Blasko; and by her nieces and nephew, Beth Ann, James, and Leslie.  In addition to her parents, Ruth Ann was preceded in death by her brother, James Uphoff.

Family and friends will be received on Thursday from 6:00 p.m. until the hour of her Funeral Service at 7:00 p.m. at Galone-Caruso Funeral Home Inc., Mt.
