Obituary of Catherine Ann Stoner

Catherine Ann Stoner, 50, of Mt. Pleasant passed away Wednesday December 31, 2025 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital.  Mrs. Stoner was born May 19, 1975 in Greensburg to Richard W. and Bonnie A. Allen Smith Sr.

Cathy was a graduate of Mt. Pleasant Area High School class of 1993.  She worked as a screen printer and embroiderer, owning her own business CB Printz.  Cathy also enjoyed everything about space travel even owning a small piece of Mars.  She also would work the election polls in Mt. Pleasant Twp. and loved her Tesla. 

In addition to her parents, Cathy is survived by her loving family, her husband, Richard E. Stoner Jr.; her son, Larry “LJ” Baroffio; her step-children, Jenna Stoner and Richard E. Stoner III; her siblings, Tammy Mersich (James) of Reno, NV, Richard W. Smith Jr. (Tham) of Allentown, PA, and Michael A. Smith (Deanna) of Acme; her faithful canine companions, Stella and Moose; and by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.  Cathy was preceded in death by her brother, Thomas R. Smith.
