Obituary of Sandy L. Queer

Sandy L. Queer, 70, of Bullskin Twp., died Saturday December 6, 2025 at The Grove in Latrobe.  Mrs. Queer was born August 6, 1955 in Connellsville to the late William and Gertrude Weiner Sirgey Sr.

Sandy worked as a cook at the Bullskin Twp. Senior Center and several restaurants in the area.  She enjoyed playing bingo, watching the Steelers, cooking, spending time with her friends at the Bullskin Senior Center, and spending time with her family. 

Sandy is survived by her loving family, her children, Shery Patton (Casey), Tami Tabich (Carl), and Jim Queer; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and by her siblings, William Sirgey Jr., and George Sirgey.  In addition to her parents, Sandy is preceded in death by her husband, James B. Queer in 2024; and by her siblings, Barbara Klejka, and Vaughn Sirgey.

Family and friends will be received on Thursday from 3:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Galone-Caruso Funeral Home Inc., Mt. Pleasant where a Funeral Service will be held on Friday at 12:30 p.m. with Rev.
