Obituary of Letitia M. Barnhart

Letitia M. “Tish” Barnhart, 81, of Mt. Pleasant passed away on Sunday November 30, 2025 at Independence Health System Frick Hospital.  Mrs. Barnhart was born April 3, 1944 in Mt. Pleasant to the late Stanley E. and Genevieve Blaszkowski Demegall.

Tish was a graduate of Ramsay High School class of 1962.  She was a member of the former Transfiguration Parish in Mt. Pleasant.  She worked along side her husband at Ruffsdale Generator for many years.  Once a month, Tish would meet with her friends for their Supper Club at various restaurants in the area.  She enjoyed going to the Mt. Pleasant Fireman’s Club, spending time with her family, and the occasional trip to the casino.  Tish was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, who took great pride in keeping a beautiful home and taking care of her family.

TIsh is survived by her loving family, her husband of 62 years, Ray Barnhart; her children, Darla Cynkar (James), and Brian Barnhart; her grandchildren, Christopher Barnhart, Zachary Cynkar, Olivia Barnhart, Emily Cynkar, and Natalie Cunkar; and by numerous extended family and friends.  In addition to her parents, Tish was preceded in death by her sister, Dolly Kirkley.

In honoring Tish’s wishes all viewing and services will be private for her family.  A private interment will take place in Mt.
