Obituary of Jeffrey P. Howard

Jeffrey P. Howard, 46, of Mt. Pleasant died unexpectedly on Friday November 28, 2025. Jeff was born March 27, 1979 in Mt. Pleasant to Gerald and Sandra Shultz Howard.

Jeff was a graduate of Mt. Pleasant Area High School class of 1997 and attended Westmoreland County Community College. He was a member of St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church, Hecla Sportsmans, American Legion Post 446, and a life member of VFW Post 3368. He proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corp., serving as a Lance Corporal in Kosovo from January 31, 1999 to July 10, 1999. Jeff then went on to work as a bus driver for Seven Springs, DMJ Bus Service, and Excela Health. He enjoyed fishing, watching football, and a good movie.

In addition to his parents, Jerry and Sandy; Jeff is survived by his brother, John Howard (Jess); his nephews, Ivan and Levon; his godmother, Lisa Cianciotti (Charles) and their children, Dominic (Randi) and Dante; his aunts, Helen Yanok, Stella Skero (Ken), Kate Hutter (Dale), Patty Stuchell (Terry), and Sharon Crise; and by his uncles, Robert Howard (Virginia), and Michael Howard (Christine). Jeff was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Peter and Elizabeth Shultz; and by his paternal grandparents, Robert and Christine Howard.

Family and friends will be received on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of his Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. at St. Pius X R.C. Church, 224 Summit St., Mt. Pleasant, PA 15666.
