Obituary of Betty L. Conty

 

Betty L. Conty, 87, of Mt. Pleasant, died Thursday November 27, 2025, at Easy Living Country Estates.  Ms. Conty was born January 31, 1938 in Old Bethany to the late Philip and Helen Dorich Conty.

Betty was a member of St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church.  She was a graduate of East Huntingdon High School class of 1956.  Betty worked at the Children’s Bureau in Greensburg for many years, and was a wonderful caretaker to her mother and brother, John.  She enjoyed baking, playing cards, watching the Pirates, and especially spending time with her family. 

Betty is survived by her loving family, her siblings, Romaine Janicki, and Ronald Conty (Jane); her sister-in-law, Jeannie Conty; her special niece, Mary Catherine Janicki; and by numerous nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her siblings, Philip, Mary Catherine, John, and Joseph.

Family and friends will be received on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of her Funeral Service at Noon at Galone-Caruso Funeral Home Inc., Mt. Pleasant, with Rev. Paul A.
