Obituary of John P. Trout

John P. Trout, 74, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away Monday October 27, 2025 at Independence Health System-Latrobe Hospital.  Mr. Trout was born August 6, 1951 in Altoona to the late Stephan and Virginia Madden Trout Sr.

John was a graduate of Mt. Pleasant Area High School class of 1969.  He worked as a Police Officer in Mt. Pleasant, and retired from Irwin Builders Supply.  After retirement he enjoyed working at Living Treasures Animal Park, walking on the Coal & Coke Trail in Mt. Pleasant, and spending time with his grandsons.

John is survived by his loving family, his wife of 53 years, Rebecca Monroe Trout; his children, Erin Fazzari, and Christopher Trout (Jolene); his grandsons, Jackson Fazzari, Hunter Trout, and Henry Trout; and by numerous nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his siblings, Stephan Trout Jr., Timothy Trout, Virginia Baker, and Stephanie Forbes.
