Obituary of Larry K. Stefl

Larry K. Stefl, 76, of Greensburg died Saturday, October 4, 2025, at Concordia at Weatherwood.  Mr. Stefl was born May 4, 1949, in Mt. Pleasant to the late Charles and Dora Trout Stefl of Mammoth. 

Larry was a graduate and salutatorian of Mt. Pleasant Area High School Class of 1967.  He received a bachelor's degree from the University of Pittsburgh in 1971.  He worked for many years as a Health Inspector for Allegheny County and after retirement worked for Lowe’s in Boston.  Larry collected art, gems, and puzzles. He enjoyed reading and going on cruises.

Larry is survived by his loving family: his brother, Terry Stefl of Greensburg; his nephews, Adam Stefl (Deann) of Elizabeth and Mark Stefl (Jackie) of Las Vegas; his great niece, Molly; his great nephews, Adam Jr., Bo, and Austin; and by his dear friend, Karen Stefl.  In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by his sister, Eileen Faye Stefl on February 12, 2025.

Family and friends will be received on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of his Memorial Service at 11:00 a.m. at Galone-Caruso Funeral Home Inc., Mt. Pleasant.  A private inurnment will be in Mt.
