Obituary of Karen A. Prince

Karen A. Prince, 80, of Mt. Pleasant passed away Wednesday September 24, 2025 at Mountain View Senior Living.  Mrs. Prince was born March 22, 1945 in Mt. Pleasant to the late Steve and Ruth Jahoda.

Karen was a member of Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church.  She worked as a cook at Goo’s Corner Café.  Karen was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Karen is survived by her loving family, her children, Donald W. Prince (Paula) of Mt. Pleasant, Rebecca J. Halko (Brian) of Florida, and James R. Prince Jr. (Jennifer Ryan) of Everson; her grandchildren, Jarred, Maxwell, Rhiannon, Joshua, Christian, Shawn, James, and Alex; and by her great-grandchildren, Aubrey, Rowan, Madelyn, and Charlie Rose.  In addition to her parents, Karen was preceded in death by her husband, James R. Prince Sr. in 2023.
