Obituary of Marie E. Marisette

Marie E. Marisette, 77, of Mt. Pleasant passed away Tuesday August 12, 2025 at Independence Health System Westmoreland Hospital.  Marie was born November 30, 1947 in Mt. Pleasant to the late George and Mildred Neiderhiser Bungard.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband William; her son Nathan; her daughter Melissa; and by her siblings, George and Ruth.

Marie was a faithful member of the Community Church of Hecla.  She was a past president of the Laura’s Guild for 20 years and served on the committee for the church’s auction extravaganza for many years.  She was a beloved sister to Don and Ron; mother to Rebecca; grandmother to David Jr., Alissa, and Anna; great-grandmother of Waylain; and she was a loving aunt, cousin, and friend to many. 

Family and friends will be received on Sunday from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Galone-Caruso Funeral Home Inc., Mt. Pleasant.  Additional viewing will be held on Monday at the Community Church of Hecla from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of her Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Dr. Dale L.
