Obituary of Phyllis Ann Caletri

 

Phyllis Ann Caletri, 91, of Mt. Pleasant passed away at home on Thursday July 31, 2025 surrounded by her loving family.  Phyllis was born December 21, 1933 in Mt. Pleasant to the late Charles and Evelyn Forejt Mullen.

 

Phyllis was a member of St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church.  She was a graduate of the former Hurst High School.  She enjoyed gardening, crafting, bingo, and the occasional trip to the casino.  Phyllis was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.

 

Phyllis is survived by her loving family, her children, Lynn Bulebush, and James Caletri (Cherie); her grandchildren, Michael Bulebush, (Nancy), Jamie Caletri, Jennifer Caletri, Joseph Caletri (Cheyann), and Raymond Westberg; and by her eight great-grandchildren.  She is also survived by her sister, Sharon Canada; her sister-in-law, Scotti Mullen; and by numerous nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Joseph D. Caletri in 2014; her son, Thomas J. Caletri in 2023; her brothers, Ronald Mullen and Daniel Mullen (Patricia); and by her brother-in-law, John Canada. 

 

Family and friends will be received on Sunday from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Galone-Caruso Funeral Home Inc., Mt. Pleasant.  A Blessing Service will be held in the funeral home on Monday at 9:30 a.m. followed by her Funeral Mass at St. Pius X R.C.
