Obituary of Anita M. Forsythe

Anita M. Forsythe, 68, of Mt. Pleasant died Monday July 28, 2025 at Independence Health Latrobe Hospital.  Mrs. Forysthe was born July 22, 1957 in Mt. Pleasant to Margaritte Ricotta Harenchar and the late Andrew W. Harenchar.

Anita was a member of Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church.  She was a graduate of Mt. Pleasant Area High School class of 1975.  She also attended Durbin Secretarial School and worked as a law clerk at Westmoreland County Court House for over 28 years.  Anita enjoyed watching the Steelers and Penguins, quilting, gardening, watching cowboy movies, and a good game of candy crush.

In addition to her mother, Anita is survived by her loving family, her husband of over 35 years, James Forsythe; her sons, Taylor James (Brian), and Michael William (Alyssa); her brother, Paul Harenchar Sr. (Kristen); her brothers-in-law, David Michalsky, Bill Forsythe (Barb), and Tom Forsythe; her sister-in-law, Wendy Leonard (Dave); and by numerous nieces and nephews.  In addition to her father, Anita was preceded in death by her sister, Beth Michalsky; and her brother-in-law, Tim Forsythe. 

Family and friends will be received on Wednesday from 2:00 to 4:00 & 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Galone-Caruso Funeral Home Inc., Mt.
