Obituary of Rodney L. Hoak

 

Rodney L. Hoak, 66, of Greensburg passed away Wednesday July 2, 2025 at Independence Health System Westmoreland Hospital.  Mr. Hoak was born December 27, 1958 in Greensburg to the late John and Ruth Trout Hoak.

 

Rodney proudly served his country in the United States Navy, serving on the USS Vulcan.  Rodney most recently worked for Overly Door Manufacturing in Greensburg.  He enjoyed buying, selling, and collecting antiques.

 

Rodney is survived by his loving family, his son, Bill Ohler (Jennifer); his grandson, Joey Ohler; his siblings, Patricia Mayo, Joan Springer (Earl), John Hoak (Alice), Jeff Hoak (Pam), and Leann Hoak; his brother-in-law, Lee Silvis Sr.; and by numerous nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents, Rodney was preceded in death by his sister, Cheryl Ann Silvis.
