Obituary of Susan M. Bauer

Susan M. Bauer, 69, of Mt. Pleasant passed away Tuesday July 1, 2025 at her residence.  Ms. Bauer was born February 12, 1956 in Mt. Pleasant to the late Robert W. and Margaret E. Pevornik Bauer.

Susan was a graduate of Mt. Pleasant Area High School class of 1974.  She had attended the Fairview Church of God.  Prior to retirement Susan was the manager at the Mountain Gateway in Laurelville.   Susan was blessed with the sweetest disposition and was always welcoming to everyone she met.

Susan is survived by her loving family, her brother, Ronald Bauer (Mary Jo); her sister-in-law, Angelika Bauer; her nieces and nephews, Patricia Hettich (Darin), Christine Fabin (Justin), Amy Bauer, Robert Bauer (Jessica), and Nicholas Bauer (Theresa); her great-nieces and nephews, Isabelle Bauer, Cassandra Bauer, Sarah Hettich, Abigail Fabin, Jalyn Ondek, Tyler Hettich, Jacob Ondek, and Drake Bauer; and by numerous extended family and friends.  In addition to her parents, Susan was preceded in death by her brothers, Robert, Timothy, and Michael.

Family and friends will be received on Sunday from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. and on Monday from 10:00 until the hour of her Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. at Galone-Caruso Funeral Home Inc., Mt.
