Obituary of Gregory W. Lessman

Gregory W. Lessman, 62, of Mt. Pleasant died Sunday June 8, 2025 at VA Hospital in Aspinwall.  Mr. Lessman was born December 27, 1962 in Connellsville to the late William E. and Mary Black Lessman Sr.

Greg was a graduate of Connellsville Area High School class of 1980.  He proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corp.  He worked in multiple career fields, most recently in the medical field as a CV Tech.  Greg loved the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing, gardening, and bird watching.  He was also an animal lover who enjoyed being outside watching the birds. 

Greg is survived by his loving family, his children, Gregory W. Lessman II, Zachary Lessman (Letitia), and Emily Lessman (Phillip Lockhart); his grandchildren, Audreana, Greyson, Calliope, Alexios, and Zeno; his four brothers and one sister; and by numerous nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents, Greg was preceded in death by his brother, William E. Lessman Jr.
