Obituary of Theresa A. Holoman

Theresa A. Holoman, 82, of Mt. Pleasant, died Thursday June 5, 2025 at Independence Health Frick Hospital.  Mrs. Holoman was born October 28, 1942 in Mt. Pleasant to the late Stephen J. and Elizabeth I. Novotny Kurimcak.

Theresa was a graduate of East Huntingdon High School class of 1960.  She was a member of Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church.  Theresa was a member of the Christian Mothers and was very active in helping with the church festivals.   She enjoyed Pittsburgh sports and was a diehard Pirates fan.  She enjoyed cooking, baking, the casino, the occasional scratch off, and taking care of all the family dogs.

Theresa is survived by her loving family, her husband of 58 years, Raymond P. Holoman; her sons, Raymond G. Holoman (Mary) of Scottdale, and Ronald P. Holoman (Paula) of Mt. Pleasant; her grandsons, Zakary and Frank Holoman both of Scottdale; her nephew, Mark Smith of New York; and her niece, Georgienne Ream of Greensburg.  In addition to her parents, Theresa was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Elizabeth Smith.

Family and friends will be received on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of her Blessing Service at Noon at Galone-Caruso Funeral Home Inc., Mt. Pleasant.  A Funeral Mass will follow at Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary R.C.
