Obituary of Timothy C. Aldom

Timothy C. Aldom, 64, of Rockwood passed away Monday March 31, 2025.  Mr. Aldom was born October 8, 1960 in Mt. Pleasant to the late William G. and Lois I. Myers Aldom.

Tim was a graduate of Mt. Pleasant Area High School class of 1978 and Slippery Rock University.  He worked as the Commercial Account Manager at Tri-Star Motors in Somerset, and was an avid outdoorsman, who loved fishing and hunting.  Much of Tim’s outstanding salesmanship and love for the outdoors came from years of working at the family business B & K Bait Shop in Laurelville.

He is survived by his loving family, his son, Nicholas Aldom; brothers, William G. Aldom Jr. (Paula), and Ron Aldom (Sandy); brother-in-law, George Kapr; and by numerous nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents, Tim was preceded in death by his sister, Karol L. Aldom Kapr.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service for Tim on Thursday, April 10, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Fairview Cemetery, Kecksburg (please meet in the Edward W. Myers Chapel).  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to be made to the Edward W. Myers Chapel at Fairview Cemetery, c/o Ross Howard 1278 Kecksburg Rd. Mt.
