Obituary of Genevieve F. Baluh

Genevieve Francis Baluh, formerly of Mt. Pleasant, passed away peacefully in her sleep surrounded by friends and family.  She had recently celebrated her 100^th birthday a milestone she looked forward to.

Genevieve was a loving mother and wife and later worked in the cafeteria of Mt. Pleasant Area High School.  She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert L. Baluh Sr.; and grandsons, Christopher Michael Baluh and John Paul Baluh.  She is survived by her three sons, Robert L. Baluh Jr. and wife Robin, Thomas John Baluh and wife Karen, and David Michael Baluh; her twelve grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.

Family and friends will be received on Thursday from 10:00 am until noon at Galone-Caruso Funeral Home Inc., Mt. Pleasant.  A private interment will be held in Visitation Parish Cemetery.  In Lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to be made to the American Cancer Society in memory of Genevieve F.
