Obituary of Rene C. Davis

Rene C. Davis, 60, of Greensburg passed away unexpectedly Friday March 7, 2025.  Mrs. Davis was born October 15, 1964 in Lebanon, PA to the late Joseph F. and Hilda M. Spangler Strangarity.

Rene was a graduate of Lebanon Area High School class of 1982.  She worked as a dedicated and loyal van driver for Fisher Transportation and most recently DMJ Transportation in Mt. Pleasant, ensuring the children she drove were always safe.  Rene was a cherished wife, sister, mother and grandmother. Rene loved watching sports, going to their cabin, and most of all spending quality time with her family, especially her granddaughters

Rene is survived by her loving family, her husband of 36 years Harry B. Davis; her sons, Ethan Davis (Kayla) and Quinn Davis (Rachel); her granddaughters, Alivia, Lillian, and Lucille; her siblings, Dawn Granger (Randy), Joseph Strangarity (Marilou), Christopher Strangarity, Andrea Strangarity, and David Strangarity (Christen); and by numerous nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, Rene was preceded in death by her nephew, Ryan Granger.

Family and friends will be received on Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Friday from Noon until 2:00 p.m. at Galone-Caruso Funeral Home Inc., 204 Eagle St. Mt.
