Obituary of Roxanne Scott

Roxanne Scott, 71, of Mt. Pleasant passed away Wednesday February 26, 2025 at UPMC Magee Hospital surrounded by her loving family.  Mrs. Scott was born November 3, 1953 in Mt. Pleasant to the late Frank J. and Mary J. Belzer Caruso.

Roxanne was a graduate of Mt. Pleasant Area High School class of 1971 and the Bradford Business Institute.  She was a member of St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church. She worked as a bank teller at Gallatin Bank and as an Optometrist Assistant for Dr. H. Arnold Papernick OD in Mt. Pleasant.  Roxanne enjoyed soap operas and game shows, Snoopy collectibles, and the Pittsburgh Steelers. Family was the most important thing to Roxanne.  She loved to cook and make crafts for them.  She especially loved her grandson Liam. She was always creating heart-felt gifts and looking forward to planning adventures with him.

Roxanne is survived by her loving family, her husband, William Michael Scott; her daughters, Amanda Scott and Megan O’Neil (Dan); her grandson, Liam; her sisters, Mary Jo Baker (Randy) and Donna Eckman (Paul); and by numerous nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received on Monday from 2:00 to 4:00 & 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Galone-Caruso Funeral Home Inc., Mt. Pleasant. A Blessing Service will be held in the funeral home Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. followed by her Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. at St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church with the Rev.
