Obituary of George A. Kiral

George A. Kiral, 72, of Mt. Pleasant died Sunday February 23, 2025 at Independence Health System-Frick Hospital.  Mr. Kiral was born August 16, 1952 in Mt. Pleasant to the late George W. and Marjorie A. Morrocco Kiral.

He was a member of Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Catholic and a graduate of Mt. Pleasant Area High School class of 1970.  George worked at Roechling Industrial Mt. Pleasant as a plastic fabricator for many years.  He was a member of the Mt. Pleasant Slovak Club, Hecla Sportsmen’s Club, and the American Legion Post 446 of Mt. Pleasant.

George is survived by his loving family, his wife of 48 years Janet L. Breegle Kiral; his sons, Jonathan Kiral and Christopher Kiral; his grandson, Benjamin Kiral; his sister-in-law, Mary Kiral; and by his niece, Chrissy Kiral.  In addition to his parents, George was preceded in death by his brother, Anthony J. “Butch” Kiral.

Family and friends will be received on Saturday from 11:30 a.m. until the hour of his Funeral Mass at Noon at Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church.  Inurnment will take place in St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Scottdale.  The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Frick Hospital Emergency Department staff for their wonderful care for George.  All arrangements have been entrusted to Galone-Caruso Funeral Home Inc., Mt.
