Obituary of Robert W. Stefl

 Robert W. "Bob" Stefl, age 88 of Mount Pleasant, PA, died Tuesday, September 26, 2017 in the Excela Health- Frick Hospital, Mount Pleasant, PA.

Mr. Stefl was born September 26, 1929 in Mount Pleasant, PA, the son of the late Edward Franklin and Mary Beran Stefl. He was a member of the First United Church of Christ in Mt. Pleasant. Bob was a graduate of Ramsay High School. He worked for many years as the Store Manager for the former Acme Co. He also worked for Heplers Hardware Store. Bob was very active in the Jaycees helping to establish many chapters all around PA and other states. He had served as JCI Senator, and held many offices within the organization. He was an active member of the BPOE 868 and then the BPOE 777.

Bob is survived by his nephew, Lawrence Edward Stefl, by his niece, Pamela Stefl Toki, both of Oakland, CA, his longtime friend and companion, Rosemarie Kucera,  and by his close friend, Gerald Lucia of Mt. Pleasant. In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his brother, Edward F. Stefl in 1965, and by his niece, Victoria Lynn Stefl in 1982.

Family and friends will be received Saturday from 12:00 Noon until 2:00PM at the Galone-Caruso Funeral Home, 204 Eagle Street, Mount Pleasant.
